Coding Dojo - Student Requested Withdrawals - Institutional Withdrawal

This policy is applicable to students who started a program at Coding Dojo after January 1st, 2025.  If you started a Coding Dojo program prior to 1/1/25, please visit: https://coloradotech.smartcatalogiq.com/en/2024/catalog/general-information-on-coding-dojo-certificate-programs/

Students intending to withdraw from Coding Dojo must submit written notice to their student Success Coach or an email to OfficeofStudentAdvising@coloradotech.edu. A students written notification serves as an official withdrawal and will be processed in a timely manner.

All balances become due and payable at the time of withdrawal from Coding Dojo.  Students intending to withdraw from Coding Dojo at the conclusion of their current session must participate in the final week of the session in order to earn a grade (P/NP) in their course.  Please see the Grade Application Policy catalog page for more details.

Students taking a single course and who would like to withdraw from that course should see Coding Dojo’s Standard Period of Non-Enrollment (SPN) and/or Leave of Absence (LOA) policy for potential options.

A student who withdraws from Coding Dojo is not eligible to re-enroll or re-enter Coding Dojo in any future session.

Course Withdrawal

The course withdrawal procedure for Coding Dojo students is a function that can only be carried out in a student’s current session. A request to withdraw from a course that is made after add/drop week and before the sixth week of class will receive a “W.” A request to withdraw from Programming Basics (PB) that is made before the second week of the session will receive a “W*.”

Students in multiple courses have the option to withdraw from either one but not both of their courses and remain enrolled at Coding Dojo. A student must be active in at least one course at Coding Dojo to remain enrolled. Once the withdrawal request information has been documented and reviewed, the Registrar’s Office will assign the W grades and Registrar Evaluation Services Department will adjust the schedule. The review and process of a course withdrawal may take several business days.

For information regarding the potential financial impact of withdrawals, please see the Cancellation and Refund policy.
