Doctor of Management - Organizational Development and Change Concentration
The Doctor of Management with a concentration in Organizational Development and Change is a 100-credit-hour terminal degree in management. The program includes 40 credit hours of core management courses, 20 credit hours of organizational change concentration courses, 4 credit hours of symposium-related courses, and 36 credit hours of doctoral research. The research element will culminate in a dissertation.
The Doctor of Management is a terminal degree for management professionals. The program helps students prepare to think and act strategically and provides the opportunity to enhance their abilities to make positive contributions in their chosen area of management expertise.The organizational development and change program provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in working with human systems (in for-profit business or not-for-profit organizations in all sectors) to identify desired change goals, respond to unexpected change, and—through planned interventions—move from a current state to a desired state. The program is geared toward management professionals who find their organizations or clients needing guidance and support in the methods of change that can lead a human system toward desired states.

The program emphasizes three areas of focus: Research and Writing; Leadership and Change Management; and the specific concentration discipline.
Graduation Requirements
In addition to the successful completion of 100 credit hours with an acceptable GPA, students must also satisfactorily complete their research proposal and final dissertation. The research proposal must be approved by the student’s Research Supervisor and University Reviewer. The dissertation, which must be approved by the student’s dissertation committee, is an extensive document that includes the research study. In addition, graduation requires presentation of the final dissertation.
Symposium
