NRSG231 Adult Medical-Surgical Clinical

In this clinical course, students will provide nursing care to medical-surgical clients and their families. Students will integrate the nursing process with prior theoretical knowledge and best evidence in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care to select patients in hospitals or long term care settings. Students are expected to demonstrate safe performance as team members and team managers for multiple clients. Students use information systems to monitor and record the outcomes of care and comply with institutional policies Accountability for safe, quality performance is also expected, as students must achieve criteria established for a satisfactory rating to pass this course
