NRSG142 Gerontological Principles of Nursing

The course provides a broad theoretical foundation for the study and practice of gerontological nursing. Concepts will include successful aging, a review of changes that accompany the aging process and the continuum of care available to older adults. The health problems and special concerns of nursing care for the elderly will be considered.
