NRSG133 Chronic Adult Illnesses Clinical

This course provides students with clinical experience for culturally diverse adults requiring medical-surgical or long-term care for chronic illnesses. Students apply clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to provide safe, quality nursing care. Evidence-based practice information should be integrated with clinical experiences as students gain confidence in their clinical skills. Students will analyze assessment data to plan, implement and evaluate outcomes of care of select patients. Students will continue to develop their communication skills to meet client and team needs. Students will be accountable for safe, quality performance in the delivery of care. Students must demonstrate proficiency in their clinical practice to successfully complete this course.
