Coding Dojo - Available Grants

Coding Dojo General Grant Conditions
The following conditions must be met in order to receive any Coding Dojo grant:
- Candidates must apply and be accepted for admission to Coding Dojo.
- Coding Dojo grants are used exclusively toward tuition and will be applied against outstanding, past, current or future charges at Coding Dojo’s discretion.
- Student must be in attendance during the applicable session.
- Must meet Coding Dojo guidelines for Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- All grants are applied as a credit to the student's account, and no cash payment will be awarded.
- Grants may not be combined, unless otherwise stated.
- Grants are applied to the student's account once per program based on the availability of funds.Students must successfully complete Programming Basics before grants are posted.
- Students who withdraw lose all current institutional grant eligibility and must reapply to be considered for future institutional grants.
- All grants cannot be transferred or substituted.
- Interested candidates should contact the Finance Department for additional information.
Coding Dojo Advantage Grant
The purpose of the Coding Dojo Advantage Grant is to recognize students who face personal and/or financial hardships in pursuit of a certificate at Coding Dojo. This grant is typically awarded up to $750. This grant can only be applied to one program. In addition to the Coding Dojo General Grant Conditions, students must also meet the following criteria:
- Candidates must submit a minimum 500-word essay on how they intend to use the skills learned at Coding Dojo to benefit others and society.
- Grant essay approvals and denials will be determined by the grant committee.
- The grant recipient must be a student currently attending or enrolled for a future start at Coding Dojo.
