Student Software Agreement and Hardware/Software Requirements

The student agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of all Software and End User License Agreements that are in place or required for software issued and used for their specific degree program.

This includes, but is not limited to, products provided by Adobe, Microsoft and others not listed here that may have been or shall be provided at any future period by Perdoceo Education Corporation (PEC), its schools, subsidiaries or affiliates. Operating System and Application software made available to online students is due in part to Colorado Technical University’s (CTU) parent organization, PEC, which has purchased End User Licenses for all its affiliated schools. These contracts are renewed at PEC’s discretion. PEC is extending students the “right to use” during the term of their enrollment in a degree program. Students do not own the license; rather they are leasing the license from PEC for the term of their enrollment.

The rights granted herein pertain only to those Microsoft software products provided by CTU or its authorized fulfillment provider and are subject to the terms and conditions of agreement between PEC and Microsoft.

Student’s access to software may be removed upon graduation or withdrawal from CTU degree programs or expiration of End User License Agreements. Under this Agreement, students will:

  • Abide by the license agreement associated with the Software;
  • Understand that no technical support is provided by PEC, its schools, subsidiaries or affiliates;
  • Understand the minimum specifications to run the Software as listed;
  • Understand that if PEC does not renew the End User License Agreement, then the student may not have access to further use;
  • Understand that if the student graduates or withdraws from a PEC affiliated school during the agreement term, the software license will be revoked;
  • Understand that Microsoft Exchange Online (Outlook email) will convert to an alumni license upon graduation;
  • Understand that software is only allowed to be distributed one time per the terms set forth in the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

Students attending fully online programs should ensure that their computer meets the requirements according to the program for which they are enrolled. For specifics you can review the Hardware & Software Requirements.
