Grade Appeal

Colorado Technical University strives to ensure that academic evaluation is objective and fair. It is the faculty responsibility to grade submitted student work according to the university grading scale as identified in the CTU Catalog, provide clear feedback, and, when needed, additional explanation of the grading scale and their application of grading against the rubric for the work submitted, where applicable.

Grade Disputes
Any student who has concerns or disagrees with a grade they received for submitted work should contact the course faculty member immediately to discuss the concern. If communication with the course faculty member does not resolve their concern, or the faculty member does not participate in communication, the student should contact their Student Success Coach to further discuss their concern.
