Master of Science in Management- Cybersecurity Management

The Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Cybersecurity Management (MSM-CSM) is a 48-credit-hour program offered online. The program includes 28 credit hours in the management core and 20 credit hours dedicated to the cybersecurity management concentration.

This program is designed to help students prepare to pursue a career in cybersecurity management through leadership and an understanding of security management, risk management, and network security principles. The program consists of research methods, leadership, managerial decision-making, and operations management in addition to providing students with the opportunity to develop a solid practical research foundation and study the fundamentals of cybersecurity to effectively manage an organization’s cybersecurity initiatives.

 

This program does not lead to additional licensure or certification.  As such, CTU has made no determination regarding prerequisites for licensure or certification in any state or jurisdiction.

This program is designed in alignment with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) framework led by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the U.S. Department of Commerce that identifies the knowledge, skills, and abilities to support the developing cybersecurity workforce.
