Scholarship
The Enlisted
Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) was formally
organized in 1972 with the goal of increasing the voice of enlisted persons in
the National Guard. As such, EANGUS is a non-profit organization dedicated to
the principles of providing an adequate national defense and promoting the
status, welfare, and professionalism of the men and women of the Army and Air
National Guard by supporting legislation that provides adequate staffing, pay,
benefits, entitlements, equipment, and installations for the National
Guard.

Scholarship Amount:
This scholarship covers full tuition for a single degree program, text books, and fees. However, recipients choosing to borrow more than $2,000.00 in federal and/or state student loans per academic year will reduce their eligibility for the full tuition scholarship dollar for dollar. The scholarship can be combined with the reduced military tuition rate.

Undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree Program
Eligibility
Criteria:
- Residency:
- be a legal resident
of the United States;
- have been granted
permanent residency;
- have a valid visa
that does not prohibit educational studies;
- have been granted
temporary protected status along with approved Notice of Action issued by
Citizen Immigration Services and verified through CIS Form G-845; or
- have been granted
asylum along with the approved Notice of Action issued by the Citizen
Immigration Services.
- Applicants must be a
current paid member of EANGUS or an immediate family member (spouse, child* or
step child*) of a current paid EANGUS member and provide an EANGUS approval letter.
*Must
have graduated high school or received their GED prior to scholarship award
date
- Applicant must meet
all admissions requirements of CTU.
- Applicants must not
be an employee or family member (spouse, dependent child or domestic partner)
of an employee of Colorado Technical University, its parent organization, or
any of their respective affiliates.
- Applicants must
submit a complete the Educational Alliances attestation form (Online Students) or University Grant & Scholarship attestation (Physical Campus Students) form, together with all supporting
documentation by the deadline date.
- Additionally, an
essay must be submitted that includes the following:
- Focus
on why looking to continue education
- Impact
to community
