TMAN870 Leading IT as Internal and External Partners in Organizations
The course focuses on building strategic alignment of IT to organizational goals, and strategic objectives across all areas of the organization. The course will provide an understanding of how to build collaborative partnerships with department leaders to establish metrics, timelines, and performance objectives to achieve organizational goals. The course will discuss the importance of understanding how to support knowledge workers and the technology tools they need to be effective and efficient. The course will address how IT leaders can partner with senior executives to achieve competitive advantage and provide data for effective decision making. The course will cover areas where IT leaders must become external partners in managing external vendor and industry relationships.
