CSC200 Certified Supervisor I

This course introduces students to the Certified Supervisor (CS) Certification and starts the preparation for learning the foundation of supervision as a manager to effectively and efficiently achieve organizational goals. Through various activities, students study the role of supervisors in creating a positive work environment, planning, setting goals and objectives, problem solving and making ethical decisions. Students work to become better equipped to distinguish types of organizational structures, work groups and teams within their own organization. This course also highlights the role of supervisors in staffing, training and appraising employees.
