Associate of Science in Business Administration

The Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA) is a 93-credit hour program that is offered online and at the Colorado campuses. It consists of 57 general education credit hours and 36 credit hours devoted to the business administration core.

This introductory program to business administration focuses on human resources, accounting, marketing, and management. The program is designed to provide a foundational approach for students interested in general business opportunities. The ASBA program aligns to the first two years of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program.

 

This program does not lead to additional licensure or certification.  As such, CTU has made no determination regarding prerequisites for licensure or certification in any state or jurisdiction.

Outcomes

The ASBA program prepares the student to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the functional areas of management
  • Apply business skills and analytical problem-solving to support organizational objectives

  • Identify appropriate accounting and financial concepts to solve problems and questions.
  • Recognize professionals who can manage human capital, marketing fundamentals and the legal environment.
