SWE345 Survey of Programming Languages

In this course students are introduced to a variety of contemporary programming languages and programming techniques. Each language and technique is placed into its historical context, its programming paradigm and style are examined and each language’s strengths and weaknesses are explored. Students will work in small teams to solve problems by exploring the various language tradeoffs introduced.
