ADV221 Advertising Principles

This course establishes a broad understanding of the importance of marketing and advertising in today’s world. Market research, consumer behavior and a variety of advertising techniques are discussed. Communication skills and design techniques that are necessary for creating promotional materials and advertising campaigns are explored. Case studies are used to demonstrate how to develop advertising strategies. Students learn how to apply advertising concepts. Individual and team activities are an important part of this course.
