PN100 Personal and Vocational Concepts I
This course addresses the role of the practical nurse as a member of the healthcare team, manager, and provider of care within the nursing profession. Responsibilities of the practical nurse regarding legal issues, sociocultural factors, religious preferences and patient teaching duties will be reviewed from a healthcare perspective. Concepts related to healthcare delivery models, delegation of duties, communication, and decision-making are explored.
