RADG121 Introduction to Radiologic Science and Patient Care

This course introduces students to the skills required for a career in Radiological Sciences. Course content includes an introduction to healthcare systems, professional organizations and cultural diversity. Students will discuss and relate the differences between the needs of patients along with proper history taking techniques and gain knowledge of infection control. Students will also identity the basis of pharmacology and contrast media administration.

Prerequisite

BIO141 and Students must successfully complete all courses in which they are enrolled in Quarter 1 in order to progress in the program.
