RADG107 Radiographic Equipment Operation and Maintenance

The focus of this course is on principles of radiation physics as they relate to the production of x-radiation and the operation of the radiographic unit. Topics will include: fluoroscopy, tomography, mobile radiography, digital imaging, and the advanced modalities. In addition, the student will be instructed in the various diagnostic imaging quality assurance programs and quality control procedures. Students will have the opportunity to perform tests in the energized lab setting.
