Re-Entry to the University
Students who have withdrawn from the University and wish to return must submit a new admissions application for consideration of readmission to the University. Students returning to the University after a dismissal should refer to the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and/or Student Conduct policy sections of the University catalog.
All students returning to the University will be reviewed on an individual basis. Guidelines for re-entry to the University include but are not limited to:
1. A student applying for re-entry to the University must meet all admissions requirements.
2. A student will not be eligible to re‐enroll unless all prior financial obligations to the University have been paid in full. The University may, at its discretion, allow a student to re‐enroll if arrangements have been made to pay the balance in full over the new program length.
3. If the student’s previous degree program and/or concentration is actively accepting new enrollments, the student may be eligible to enroll in the current degree program and/or concentration.
4. If the student’s previous degree program and/or concentration is no longer accepting new enrollments, the student may be eligible to enroll in an alternate degree program and/or concentration.
5. In all cases the University will work to maximize applicable transfer credit, proficiency credit, and credits earned during previous enrollment.
Upon re-entry to the university, a doctoral student's symposium event attendance will be evaluated to determine if attendance at future symposium events will be required.
