MATH315 Statistical Methods and Applications

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to statistics and emphasizes the importance of statistics within the broader area of data literacy. Students will have the opportunity to practice applying statistical operations and tests to better understand data and how it applies to different industries. The course covers topics such as fundamental statistics, probabilities, distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
