HRMT420 Managing Labor-Management Relations

This course explores labor-management relations from union and non-union perspectives. Issues discussed include: the history of unions in the United States, the development of labor laws, collective bargaining, the negotiation process, the grievance system, arbitration and mediation, and employee relations councils. The course concludes with a discussion of the future of unions and labor relations in the United States.
