CJUS874 Collaboration and Cooperation Within and Among Criminal Justice Agencies
This course will address collaboration and cooperation within the criminal justice sphere. The course will focus on collaboration and coordination with respect to issues such as interagency cooperation, unified command, and intelligence-sharing. The course will also address collaboration and coordination in the context of the work that agency managers engage in with elected officials. Finally, the course will address the challenges and processes involved in public policy development within the criminal justice sphere, to include public outreach, understanding legal and regulatory frameworks, and policy planning.
