Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. Established in 1988, ACBSP is a business accrediting organization for all associate, baccalaureate and graduate degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the Business Administration degree programs meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCE), offered at the Colorado Springs campus and the Virtual Campus, and the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), offered at the Colorado Springs campus, are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET (https://www.abet.org).
National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security
The Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency have recognized Colorado Technical University as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD). The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program with a concentration in Cybersecurity Engineering program curriculum was validated thereby to map to the DHS/NSA cybersecurity knowledge units.
Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management, Bachelor of Project Management, Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management, Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Project Management, Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Information Systems Security, and Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Information Technology/Project Management degree programs are accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has acknowledged that Colorado Technical University's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resource Management and Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Human Resource Management fully align with SHRM's HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates. The HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates were developed by SHRM to define the minimum HR content areas that should be studied by HR students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
