Nursing Excellence Grant

The Nursing Excellence Grant was developed to assist registered nurses in advancing their education by pursuing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Colorado Technical University (CTU). The grant is equal to 20% of each academic year’s tuition costs; the Nursing Excellence Grant does not apply to technology or graduation fee charges.

In addition to the CTU General Grant and Scholarship Conditions, candidates must also meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in or returning to the BSN program at CTU and must begin taking classes on or before the January 5, 2021 (2101A) term.
  • Students must remain continuously enrolled in the BSN program to receive the grant for the full length of the program. Students who withdraw will not be eligible to receive the grant if they return after the end of the add/drop period for the January 5, 2021 term.
  • Students must maintain nursing-specific program eligibility requirements to remain eligible for the grant.

This grant may be combined with Post 9/11 GI Bill® and Vocational Readiness and Employment benefits. The grant can be combined with the reduced military tuition rate.
