CJUS872 Criminal Justice Organization and Management
This course addresses various organizational systems in the Criminal Justice field, such as information and communication, policy, politics and accountability. The course also addresses change management, organizational culture, and organizational development. The course will also address the principles of budgeting, including cost-benefit analysis, evaluation, and the management and organization of the budgetary process. Leadership, management, and budgeting challenges and issues facing Criminal Justice leaders will be addressed in the context of the environment in which criminal justice agencies operate and the specific challenges that they face.
