GOVT125 American Government in the Modern Political Age
This introductory course provides an overview of the framework and basic functions of the three branches of government. It explores the rights and privileges of citizenship and the role of politics in democracy as well as the influences on politics of interest groups, mass media, and political parties. From this course, students can work to develop an appreciation for understanding and engaging in the political process.
