SCI101 Introduction to the Sciences

Science drives our lives. Many of the key quality of life advances we experience in the Western world come through scientific inquiry and the scientific method that drives that thirst for invention and innovation.  This course is designed to provide foundational knowledge in and foster an appreciation for the many dynamic disciplines –such as chemistry, physics, biology, and geology – within this robust field.  This course is designed for students to explore the basic tenets of scientific thinking, including the Scientific Method as well as other quantitative and qualitative approaches designed to enable them to draw meaningful conclusions about the world around them.
