MGMT502 Foundations of Business and Management

Foundations of Business Management is a self-paced and self-directed course providing an overview of the functional areas of business including accounting, economics, finance, marketing, and statistics. Students will review accounting concepts; analyze financial statements; discover the foundations of economics used for managerial decisions; discuss foundations of business from an economic viewpoint; address the foundations of marketing, marketing strategy, and the marketing mix within an organizational context; apply statistical methodology to management decisions; and use descriptive and inferential statistics for decision making.
