HSS103 Introduction to Healthcare Delivery Systems
This course provides an introduction into the complex healthcare organizations within the United States. Students are introduced to the various types of health delivery organizations. Basic concepts and current issues will be discussed to provide understanding of how these systems are organized, managed, and financed. Legal and regulatory influences on the delivery of healthcare will be discussed. Healthcare providers and the role on the delivery of healthcare will be identified.
