HLS820 Contemporary Issues in Homeland Security

Using large scale systems thinking this course will explore the current reality of HLS challenges that embraces tribal, state, municipal, national, and private efforts. This team-taught class uses a diverse cohort across representative organizations, enabling knowledge wharing and complex problem solving. The role is to create practitioners who not only create theory in HLS but understand the immediate application of large scale change techniques to complex crises that have no clear solutions and spann numerous organizations.
