HCM621 Ethics, Policy and Law in Healthcare Management
This course examines key ethical, regulatory, and legal issues related to healthcare management and delivery of health care services. Emphasis is placed on the interface of ethics, policy, and law on medical negligence, malpractice and professional liability, medical records, medical records management, patient consent, confidentiality, privacy, patient rights and responsibilities, contracts, labor relations, and other current issues.
