CJUS687 MSCJ-Homeland Security Concentration Capstone

The course is designed to integrate and synthesize all coursework in the graduate Criminal Justice Homeland Security concentration program and related areas, allowing the student to demonstrate the professional competencies associated with a broad conceptual and practical understanding of the criminal justice field as it relates to homeland security. Students will evaluate case studies and other materials to demonstrate competency as a leader in criminal justice fields where they interrelate to and interact with homeland security issues. Students will analyze issues of technology, government and policy, intelligence, and vulnerability analysis, allowing students to incorporate knowledge and experience as they apply ethical principles in developing effective strategies to confront issues facing practitioners within the realms of criminal justice and homeland security.
