Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Digital Marketing Concentration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration provides students with foundational business knowledge, linking industry concepts with real-world examples that foster applied learning to prepare students for their chosen career. Students develop proficiency in business tools/techniques and the principles/skills of management. The program builds on analytical and soft skills to support the student’s professional growth.

BSBA-DM Program prepares the student to:
  • Explain the fundamental skills necessary to create marketing solutions for the complex digital world.
  • Summarize how targeted marketing engages the customer relationship and broadens the customer pool.
  • Demonstrate application of social media, digital marketing, and consumer research strategies.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Digital Marketing (BSBA-DM) will use theory, software, data, and research to understand multimodal marketing with emphasis on the digital environment. The program will apply research on consumer behavior, Internet and mobility marketing, social network marketing, innovation, Big Data, technological advances, and general marketing principles toward effective campaigns.


BSBA-DM program competencies:
  • Employ web analytics toward stronger decision-making, product design, and distribution.
  • Describe how to use trends in consumer behavior to leverage and create new market opportunities.
  • Apply appropriate concepts of marketing, technology, and behavior theory to create engaging and technologically- flexible marketing campaigns, including mobile technology.
  • Analyze customers’ digital behaviors/activity from a strategic marketing perspective.
  • Identify the skills needed to create and integrate traditional and digital marketing campaigns.
