Associate of Science in Management

The Associate of Science in Management (ASM) program is designed to establish a foundation for business management by introducing students to management skills, functions, and knowledge while simultaneously developing academic and professional skills for students to meet their career goals.

 

The ASM program prepares the student to:

  • Identify the general functions of management.
  • Demonstrate presentation and composition skills required for professional settings.
  • Apply skills necessary for effective management in a multicultural workplace.

 

ASM program competencies:

  • Demonstrate an introductory understanding of management functions.
  • Explain the nature and role of managers in organizations.
  • Apply professional written and verbal communication
