RADG122 Patient Care and Radiographic Sciences Clinical Lab

This course introduces students to the clinical skills required for a career in Radiological Sciences. Course content includes promotion of safety, first aid, and CPR certification. Students will also learn to demonstrate proper patient transfer, immobilization, aseptic and non-aseptic techniques. This course will also introduce medical emergencies and situational training for students within the radiology department. The student will also review basic radiology terminology and positioning concepts that prepare them to transition into the core curriculum.

Prerequisite

BIO141 and Students must successfully complete all courses in which they are enrolled in Quarter 1 in order to progress in the program.
