HSS250 Principles of Quality Improvement

This course will study the concepts related to performance improvement within the healthcare organization including but not limited to quality of care and customer satisfaction. The student will be introduced to the role of the governing body, management, and individual healthcare providers/employees in analyzing and implementing performance improvement processes. Factors affecting performance of a healthcare organization will be identified such as human factors, regulatory agencies, risk management activities, and external forces.
