DMD371 Desktop Publishing III

This course focuses on advanced desktop publishing techniques in the production of a variety of digital media. This course continues to explore budgeting, project management, and industry standards for printing and intellectual property. Students create high quality work that is ready for press and various other digital media. An emphasis on professionalism in design, research, budgets, intellectual property and project management is expected. Advanced topics such as paper properties, preflighting, working with professionals, how to improve oneself and get work, licensing and contracts are addressed.
