VC210 Drawing II

This course features an introduction to the tools and techniques of figure drawing. Students render faces, hands, and the entire human figure working from both live models and photographic reference materials. Students explore figure drawing using a variety of hands-on (non-computer) media and will explore both realistic and creative drawing assignments. This is a studio course that is designed to refine drawing skills through the study of linear perspective, anatomy, and various illustrative techniques. Emphasis is placed on developing creative, illustrative solutions to commercial design problems.
