PBAD311 Shaping Public Policy: Politics and the Legislative Process

Students will explore and analyze the dynamics of state legislatures and Congress in this comprehensive study of the legislative process as it relates to the creation and funding of public policy and public institutions. The impact of political parties, interest groups, and the legislative oversight of bureaucracy are also considered.
