MEDA135 Law and Ethics for Healthcare Providers

Medical law and ethics are studied so that the student is aware of the basic legal relationship between the physician and the patient, and the nature of the allied health professional’s responsibility with regard to those relationships. In addition, students will be challenged to separate personal and professional ethics to manage ethical dilemmas in the healthcare setting.
