HIST212 Modern World History: 1900-2000
This course provides an overview of the major events in contemporary history/20th century history. Topics will include the impact of World War I, the Russian Revolution, the rise of Fascism and Nazism, World War II, the Cold War, national liberation and Third World independence, contemporary social movements, and the dawn of the 21st century. Emphasis will be given to the role played by social and economic forces in the development of the modern world.
