BIO200 Applied Microbiology

This course focuses on the basic principles of microbiology, particularly on the principles of cellular function. Students then learn to apply these principles in the study of the specific therapies for the treatment of bacterial, parasitic, and viral infectious diseases. Students will also learn the causes and complications of antibiotic resistant strains and their role in compromising patient safety.
